Seamless steel pipe is made of an alloy of iron, carbon and other elements. With hollow section, it is often used for conveying fluid, such as petroleum, natural gas, coal gas, water and kinds of solid materials. Compared to round steel and other solid steel materials, this steel tube has light weight and is an economic steel profile. We can make use of seamless steel pipes to make ring-shaped work pieces, which improves the material utilization rate, simplifies the manufacturing process, and saves material and processing time. It is extensively used for manufacturing rolling bearing ring and lifting jack. Steel tube is also inevitable in the manufacturing of various conventional weapons, such as gun barrel. Most of JST seamless steel pipes are in round shape because round pipes can deliver more fluid and afford uniform stress.
